Enhanced Survey Management: Closing & Reopening Functionality

We are excited to introduce the Survey Closing and Reopening feature, designed to enhance survey management and provide greater flexibility.

Key Updates

Survey Closure:

  • A survey can only be closed when its status is "Live."
  • Once closed:
  1. All scheduled reminders are canceled.
  2. Home Page Actions are deactivated.
  3. No new participants can be added, and the bot stops accepting responses.

Survey Reopening:

  • A survey can only be reopened if its status is "Closed." Surveys in "Completed" status cannot be reopened.
  • Upon reopening:
  1. Home Page Actions are restored, but scheduled reminders remain canceled.
  2. The bot resumes accepting responses, allowing participants to continue from where they left off.
  3. New participants can be added, and reminders can be sent.

Additional Enhancements:

  • Survey Reports: Accessible at all times, regardless of survey status.
  • Activity Log: Tracks and displays details of who closed and reopened the survey.
  • Improved Help Component: Enhanced user experience for smoother navigation.
  • Accurate Response Counting: Previously, selecting multiple options for a single question resulted in each option being counted as a separate response. Now, responses are tracked based on unique question IDs, ensuring accurate data collection.
  • Consistent Bot Response Handling: The bot will now stop accepting responses midway for all question types, ensuring a uniform experience.
  • User-Controlled Survey Closure: Surveys will no longer close automatically after three weeks; closure is now entirely in the user’s control.
