Per-Participant End Dates for Review Phases

We’re excited to introduce a powerful enhancement to the Performance Review process — Per-Participant End Dates for review phases.

Key Highlights:

• Individual Participant End Dates

Admins can now:

1. Edit end dates for individual participants directly under the new “Launched” tab in the Phases view.
2. Extend or shorten timelines for selected reviewees without impacting the entire phase.
3. Sort and view participants by End Date, Completion Status, and Launch Status for easier management.

• Updated Global Phase End Date Behavior

When a phase-level end date is updated, all launched participant end dates will automatically align with the new date, ensuring consistency across the review cycle.

• Post-End Date Launch Support

Admins can now launch reviews even after a phase’s end date for newly added reviewees in an active review cycle — eliminating the need for manual reopening.

• Smarter Notifications

1. Reminder notifications will only be sent to participants whose end date is today or in the future.
2. If an admin tries to send reminders to users whose end date has already passed, the system will display a warning and automatically exclude those users from the reminder batch.

• Handling New Reviewees

1. When new reviewees are added to an ongoing review cycle, they’ll be created without an end date by default — giving admins the flexibility to set one later.
2. The phase row will remain editable and visible in the Phases tab even after the end date has passed, allowing continued access for review management.
