Release Announcement: ACL for Employee Management & Reviews

We’re excited to share the latest update in our Settings Permissions rollout, designed to give admins greater flexibility, smarter controls, and stronger privacy safeguards.

Impersonation Access Control: A new feature has been added to manage Employee Impersonation:

• Scoped Impersonation: Sub-admins can only impersonate employees within their assigned scope.
• No Chained Impersonation: Users cannot impersonate while already impersonating someone else.
• Smarter UI: Impersonation options are hidden if the user does not have access.

Reviews ACL Enhancement: We’ve also introduced a new level of control in Reviews:

• Previously, admins only had a single “Grant All” option.
• Now, the new “Administer” permission allows admins to create and manage review cycles without viewing employee responses — balancing flexibility with privacy.

These updates provide your teams with smarter permissions, stronger admin controls, and enhanced employee privacy.
